ReCon Advisory Partners are looking for an experienced Estimator based in an around the Yorkshire area on behalf of a civil engineering and construction company. The company are looking for an individual who can play a vital part within their business having many responsibilities to ensure the business becomes even more successful.
Key Responsibilities;
- Contacting potential clients by telephone or meeting face to face to discuss their requirements, offer advice and provide them with an estimate of the likely costs.
- To provide technical knowledge and input into the process of quoting, site surveys and design.
- Liaising with managers and key decision makers within the business.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and labour rates to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions.
- Conduct risk assessments and incorporate contingency plans in estimates.
Requirements;
- Preferred degree in quantity surveying or associated construction field.
- Minimum 3 years experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on high-end projects.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PDF, and other Microsoft programs.
- Proven and able to work independently as well as part of a team to deliver high quality standards for every client.
Pay; £40,000 - £50,000
