Exciting Opportunity for a Permanent MEP Quantity Surveyor
ReCon Advisory Partners are recruiting for a leading consultancy based in Hertfordshire that specialises in providing consultancy services within the construction sector.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate cost estimates and budgets for MEP projects.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of project costs against budgets.
- Manage tendering processes, including preparing tender documents and evaluating submissions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist with financial reporting and cash flow forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and relevant legislation.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to provide timely advice on costs and procurement.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project management.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar field.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Package :
- Up to £70,000 annual salary
- Company car/allowance is negotiable
