Recon Advisory Partners is thrilled to be recruiting for a leading firm based in Castleford, Yorkshire and the Humber, known for their expertise in the Civil Engineering sector. They are looking to recruit a strong Quantity Surveyor who is looking to to take their next step in their career and join a fast growing company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost estimates and financial reports for projects.
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with budgets.
- Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate project viability.
- Prepare tender documents and assist in the selection of contractors.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor contract performance.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Provide advice on procurement strategies and risk management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the Civil Engineering sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Package :
- Salary - £50,000 - £70,000
